Larry and Gloria Lundstrom visited Battle Lake, MN, for a rally at the Missionary Alliance Church there. We are scheduled to join them on the tour to the National Gospel Quartet Association convention in Pigeon Forge, TN. So we wanted to say hello and introduce Sue's sister Ruth who will be on the trip also.

Afterwards we visited the main street of Battle Lake.
We ate at the Lake Avenue Cafe, a new restaurant started by the family of Mary Link for whom we had volunteered in her Kindergarten class in Fergus Falls. They started with the Dalton Cafe in Dalton, MN.
Grannies is a summertime institution in Battle Lake. Selling ice cream and bagged candy, just what visitors to the area and locals want. Usually there are lines waiting for service.
